Hi everyone! It's Superman Week! But more importantly, this Friday is the only Friday the 13th this year! Evelyn loves Friday the 13th. While it's usually a bad luck day for most people, it is usually good luck for her. (Bet we jinxed it now though). So, to celebrate Friday the 13th, our sale this week is 50% off Halloween Products!

Also, since Father's Day is this Sunday we have a Father's Day page kit available this week only for just $5! Get yours now-when they're gone, they are gone. Also, in the Kids Class this Saturday we'll be making a Father layout and a card. The class is $10, which includes all supplies. It starts at 9am. Registration is required by Friday.

While we're on the topic of class registration...let us take a moment to remind everyone of the Class and Crop Policies:

  • Registration for classes and crops closes at noon the day before.
  • Payment is due at the time of registration.
  • Scrapnesia reserves the right to cancel classes or crops due to illness, inclement weather or registration less than 3 people.
  • Participants must bring their own adhesive, cutting tools, and pens/markers.

This past Friday, we had a ScrapTherapy AM crop scheduled for 10am-2pm. That's starting an hour before the store opens. Per Scrapnesia Crop/Class Policies, registration is required by noon the day before a class or crop, and if no one is registered, the event is canceled. Since no one was signed up for the crop as of Thursday, I (Donna) did not arrive at the store until 11 am. Then, I found out that several people had been waiting for me since 10 for the crop. Thankfully, we have a wonderful group of customers who were not as upset, as they were worried that something had happened to me or my children. (Did I mention how great we think our customers are?!)

Here at Scrapnesia, we try our best to schedule classes and crops at times we are both in the store so that one of us can run the store while the other takes care of the customers at the crop or class. So last Friday, Evelyn scheduled an interview for Friday morning, and I spent the extra hour at home with my children since it was the first day out of school for Tristan. Had we known anyone was coming to the crop, we definitely would have been here at 10 am to let you in!

    The Cricut Club monthly meeting is next week, Tuesday, June 17, from 6 to 8pm. We will have a guest teacher, Design Team Member, Melissa Greene. She's a Cricut guru, so you will NOT want to miss this meeting!

June Layout Contest

Purchase the Monthly Contest kit for just $5. (Value of the kit is between $6-$10). Create a layout with the kit, and bring it in or upload it to the website to enter the monthly contest. The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate.
