Hi All! Hope you all had a great Fourth of July! I know I'm thankful to those who fought and those who continue to fight to make sure we have a wonderful free county to live in.

I must apologize for not talking to you in a month. OK...it's only been two weeks, but it was in June. I went to the beach last week and apparently stayed in the only hotel still in existence that doesn't have internet access in the room. Then, this week I have been sick in the bed. Poor Donna has had the store to herself a lot lately.

We are getting the website ready now to announce the new design team and I will also be getting the June contest entries all uploaded now that I am back in the world of the living.

• Wednesday, July 9th ~ 2pm ~ Cards Galore Workshop - Who’s better at cards than Hallmark?? YOU! Oh, yes, handmade cards are all the rage, and you can do it, too. Join us and make 10 projects. (2 each of 5 different designs.) One project will be a 3-D item! Stations are set up with complete instructions and you can work at your own pace. Of course, we are always here to help-just ask! $20.

July Layout Contest

Purchase the Monthly Contest kit for just $5. (Value of the kit is between $6-$10). Create a layout with the kit, and bring it in or upload it to the website to enter the monthly contest. The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate.

Now to the fine print: One entry per person. Submissions must be received by 9:00 pm, Saturday, July 31, 2008. Voting will be online, and winners announced on the blog.
